Roadtrip 2014: Vancouver - Yakima - Boise - Provo - Flagstaff - Tucson - Palm Springs - Paso Robles - Sacramento - Eureka - Bandon - Seaside - Vancouver

Day 32 - Benson, Gleeson and Tombstone

Your unit awaits - established 1920's.

Yes it is also for sale.

Many original features.

Wow! Now who wouldn't want it?

It even comes with authentic petroglyphs.

In room television still available.

All prepared for those cool desert nights.

Lots of on site parking - or horse stables - as you prefer.

A little later we come across Gleeson. This oldie's not for sale but the jail and the school ruins are.

The Gleeson Cemetery, complete with eerie shadow cast by an eccentric.

Legend has it that the guy who made this sign could only work looking in a mirror.

Inside Mark's "Wyatt Earp" Gunfight saloon and theatre - 3 shows every day. Mark and staff also make a wicked coffee - the only real espresso in Tombstone, bring in the most amazing pastries, serve up breakfast and lunch and run a 3 room B&B as well. Whew!!

Rush hour traffic jam in Tombstone.

How to parallel park yer carriage.

We think this is the real thing. It's sometimes hard to tell in Tombstone.

"Draw, Mister" now makes cowboys reach for their phones.

The hand of Tombstone - you must obey - they don't hesitate to get out the long guns here.

Fer sale. The Original OK corral # 71.

The Larian is absolutely THE place to stay in Tombstone. It's constantly booked to the rafters. It is not for sale.

If yous gonna hang around anys o' dem Original OK corrals, yous be needin' a gun. And a motorsickle.

Mason's Hall - fabulous restoration.
